US Lacrosse Names GreenFields as Synthetic Turf Partner

BALTIMORE — US Lacrosse has signed a five-year marketing partnership with GreenFields USA as its official artificial turf partner, it was announced today.
GreenFields, a world leader in artificial turf systems, will be installing its state-of-the-art MX Trimension woven turf and woven Sine pad along with a TPE infill at US Lacrosse’s new headquarters and training center in Sparks, Md., in early 2016. US Lacrosse has chosen a system that will provide the latest in technology for safety and performance. In addition, GreenFields will supply two portable indoor fields using its XPNF (non-infill) system at US Lacrosse’s annual convention.
“We spent considerable time evaluating the product lines and brand fit of a number of synthetic turf manufacturers, and we concluded that GreenFields was an outstanding fit,” said US Lacrosse CEO Steve Stenersen. “From innovation to performance to sustainability, their product lines stood out, and I believe GreenFields will emerge as the preferred synthetic surface for lacrosse. The field will serve as home for Team USA and a site for international, college and high school games, as well as youth play. The site will also serve as an education center for national coach and official training.
